Descripción

What this unit teaches is the idiomatic
expressions and words with colloquial
meaning.

From the reading of this unit some words
are highlighted that are used colloquially
and have a different meaning.

Words in idioms do not have a literal meaning
or dictionary, their meaning comes from the
situation or the context to which they are
applied.

This is the case of expressions like in a
hurry which is used to indicate that
someone has a real urgency to do something.
In the reading, the expression he wasnt
in a hurry means that the robber didnt
have any urgency to get away from the bank.
Thats why he was riding a bike, instead
of going away in a car or some fast vehicle.
